Post words like contrast, compare, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate.
Use these words in the questions you ask your kids. For example, “Contrast the candidates in the presidential run.”

Involve the family in making the budget.
Create an Excel spread sheet and display the information in a pie, bar, or surface graph.
